Animated videos are a way to get a message across without going on an expensive video shoot. You have to have a talented animator to pull it off and that’s exactly what I had. I wrote the scripts and provided creative direction and watched these videos come to life to tell stories that explain intricate topics in a simple manner.

The task was simple. Travel around the great state of California and find some stories through a project dubbed the Summer Roadshow. I worked with a great videography crew and had the pleasure of capturing great footage while also catching some inspirational quotes. This story turned out to be a nice long-form written piece, but also a video to help tell this story of survival and perseverance.
Members of Distinction
This was my favorite ongoing project. Each year, I was responsible for overseeing the Members of Distinction program where we highlight our top family farm-owners for their dedication to dairy, their families and community. I was responsible for planning and overseeing photoshoots, drafting video scripts, conducting interviews, developing story angles and much more.

Sharing stories about the men and women dedicated to feeing our communities has always been a commitment I’m proud to be a part of. For me, this story hits different. I had the pleasure of working with Martinez family to make sure it was told just right. This is a story about perseverance, dedication and friendship.

This was another great story we found while traveling on our Summer Roadshow. We stumbled across a family with bubbly personalities and a dedication to their animals. What they thought was common love between them and their herd turned into a story that everyone can enjoy.
Sprint + Hulu
I was tasked with being the lead copywriter for the Hulu partnership service launch. This allowed me to work with our creative design manager, while also collaborating with key internal and external marketing groups to create the perfect voice for both brands.
Rock your refund
I worked with a great designer on this concept. We were tasked with creating a unique tax season theme and came up with "Rock your refund". The internal brand team immediately loved this concept and used it across the enterprise for all omni-channel marketing during the 2018 tax season.
Saint Luke’s
Health System
Saint Luke's Health System includes 10 hospitals and provides a range of services in the KC metro and region. And I got to develop and implement social media content for them. This is a great organization that I was proud to support and help bring their social media voice to life.
Samsung GS9 | GS9+
Being the lead copywriter for an Iconic device launch is a big deal. I learned this very early on during this project and loved the pressure. This project required extensive copywriting, AEM and project management skills to pull off such a task. I'm very happy to say the launch was flawless and we were the first carrier to promote the pre-order and launch of this popular device.
Super Bowl | Sprint
Can a project get any better for a sports fan? The answer is no. I was able to work with our brand and marketing teams to bring this futuristic concept to life. They did the heavy lifting while I was able to flex some AEM chops.
Essentially Made
I had the privilege of working with one of Nashville, TN's most talented creatives by re-designing and building the website for Essentially Made Video & Photography. The goal was to bring her brand to life, highlighting her lifestyle video and photography skills, while using fresh copy to attract new customers to her imaginative approach. I loved this project and it gave me the opportunity to utilize my freelance and small business collaboration skills.
Sprint Unlimited
What was my biggest project, the one that kept me up at night? Sprint's featured plan, Unlimited. This puppy was updated quite often with new marketing tactics, pricing, features, you name it, we tried it and I was tasked with updating all Unlimited digital placements. If anyone had an Unlimited question, I was "the guy".
The Works
This was such a fun project to work on with one of the most talented designers I know. We created a fun way to reach out to existing customers on a monthly basis and collaborated with our base marketing team to ensure the right message was being voiced. This project included extensive AEM work and extreme attention to detail.
BHS Restoration & Water Mitigation
This was an enjoyable, successful and rewarding project where I was able to help a local business bring their brand to life while re-designing their entire website. This project included extensive design work, copywriting and SEO strategy and execution.
Essential Phone
This project was truly unique as I was the lead copywriter for the Essential Phone launch. This was the first smartphone from Essential Products, started by Andy Rubin, co-founder of Android. I was able to collaborate with a young company, helping launch a device that was a Sprint exclusive. AEM work and fresh copy were "essential" skills needed to complete this project. My Sprint | My Boost
Have you ever been assigned a project that's boring but you turned it into something truly enjoyable and great? That's what writing for the app store was like for me. It can be difficult to explain app enhancements in a fun way, but I was able to create lively "what's new" copy, promotional text and app descriptions for prepaid and postpaid services.
My Sprint Landing Page
After some stellar work in the app store, a great designer and I were tasked with creating a fresh new landing page for the My Sprint app. We worked with internal teams focusing on bringing the mobility of the app to life. Our in-house ad agency created the videos, and we pieced it together establishing a "happy place" for users to learn more.
